At Sri Atmananda Memorial School, parents and teachers work together for the well-being of the child, through:
- Parent workshops—From time to time the parents of a particular class in the school meet together with the teachers for a group discussion of practices on the campus and the children’s progress. These informal and lively discussions are popular among the parents, as they provide an opportunity to express doubts and hear the experiences of other parents as well as the teachers.
- Parent-school conferences—Whenever parents or teachers have an issue to discuss, a small group of teachers and a member of the management will meet with parents to discuss their child’s progress.
- New-parent tours—When a family requests admissions to the school, his family members are invited to tour the campuses for an overview of the children’s education.
- Informal communications—Parents are free to call or visit the school at any time, and teachers often initiate contact with the parents when there is an issue that needs to be resolved. Mutual cooperation and communication between parents and teachers is very important for the support of the child in the school.
